Throughout the Bible, we read about the miraculous healing that Jesus performed on many people. Miracle healing can still happen today! If you or a loved one is going through health issues or needs healing from sickness, reading the bible verses to God can help you cope with what you or your loved one is going through.
Here is a list of bible verses about healing that you can read back to God. Choose a verse that speaks to you or jumps off the page and say it out loud to God expressing your worry and fear. When you focus all your attention on God and his word he will give you peace in the situation. He is waiting to hear from you.
HEALING FROM SICKNESS BIBLE VERSES
Psalms 30: 2 - O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health
Psalms 103: 3 - He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
Exodus 15: 26 - "He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”
Exodus 23: 25 - "You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness."
Proverbs 3: 8 - Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
Jeremiah 17: 14 - O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!
Jeremiah 30: 17 - " I will give you back your health and heal your wounds," says the Lord.
Matthew 4: 23 - Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
Matthew 8: 17 - This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said "He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases."
James 5: 15 - Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALING VERSES
I am also showing you a few verses that can help anyone who is going through a hard season in their life mentally and emotionally.
Isaiah 41:10 - Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Joshua 1:9 - "This is my command, Be strong and Courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
John 14:27 - "I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid."
CONCLUSION
I hope these verses have brought some healing to your soul. God can still work miracles so don’t give up hope. Keep praying and keep repeating these verses over and over. God will answer you back. You just have to be diligent in prayer and trust that He is working things out for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
